Work... is still stressful, but I actually went and talked to the Director of Finance and he was pretty positive about the idea of me getting some project work in the division, so I'm being hopeful about that. Either way, now if I have to leave, I can say I did everything reasonable to be able to stay.
Life in General ... is carrying along fairly as normal, I'm running a role playing game, and I'm being a fair bit tidier than I've ever been before. I'm considering taking up swimming to deal with the stress and overweightness. I'm very poor, but I'm close to self-sufficient, so that's getting better. Flat's okay, we all like each other, I think, but there's a fair amount of stress and argument.
Last night... I went up to Hugh (after a few beers) and said "The thing is... walls don't exist, they're just illusions, you can walk right through", Hugh (who had also had a few beers) agreed heartily. Context is important.
