This is that LJ interests meme, my LJ interests are a little whimsical, but here it is anyway...

1. chewable items:
   Oh bollocks, I'm actually going to have to do this now, and all my interests are stupid. Anyway, chewable items...
   
   I enjoy chewing, it's a natural animal thing which helps me clean my teeth, some items (biro lids, beer-can plastic things, TV-remotes) are better than others due to being more chewable. I like these items for this reason
   
   
2. doritos:
   I don't know what I was thinking when I put in this (or indeed most of the other ones). I wouldn't say I have a particular fascination with Doritos, but I do enjoy eating them. Especially the original flavour.
   
   
3. killer yellow things:
   Killer Yellow is a hypothetical colour used by philosophers to discuss something to do with sensation. It's a shade of yellow which the perceiving of, kills you before you perceive the colour itself; or so I thought...
   
   Whilst working for the Inland Revenue I found a sheet of see through plastic which made things killer yellow (or at least, mildly injure yellow), you could put it over any sheet of paper, show it to a colleague, and they'd retreat saying; "Get that away from me!" or "That's horrible". It was great, I should have kept that.
   
   
4. open-ness:
   I like it when people are honest. I've got a lot of respect for people who can tell me what they really think, and it's always useful to know how people really feel.
   
   
5. pies:
   I am quite keen on pies. They're more of a habit than an interest though.
   
   
6. running:
   Running is great!, and none of this crappy 'wear tights and run slowly, pumping your arms like a idiot' stuff neither. You run fully clothed, very fast, and not for very long (unless you're fit, in which case you can do it for longer if you want). It's all about feeling of the air going past, the feeling of being free.
   
   
7. sky:
   There are many good things about the sky, these include:
   
   clouds, rain, storms, sunlight, birds, rainbows, strange coloured clouds when the stratosphere goes funny, hot-air balloons, the feeling of infinity, stars, the moon, and the amazing shade of purple it sometimes goes in winter amongst others.
   
   
8. striped paperclips:
   This interest was entered during my 'strange' period during working for the Inland Revenue. I had taken to collecting paperclips in a desperate attempt to salvage my sanity from a job which was mind-numbingly repetive (but which had excellent paper-clip gathering potential).
   
   I never actually acquired a striped paperclip, but some of my colleauges (many of whom did exactly the same thing) had managed to acquire one or two. At the time the interest was entered, my desire for a striped paperclip was bordering on obsession.
   
   
9. things:
   Things... hmm... There's an awful lot of things, and it's always great to see new ones, it's what keeps life interesting.
   
   
10. women:
    Despite much evidence to the contrary, I am actually interested in women, both as people and in the more usual sense.
