until they all go away that you fully realise the impact of not having access to
such things as filing trays, Rubber bands, post-it notes and stationary.
Everything's gone! The fleas are going wild (apparently our carpet was infested
with fleas), and it is now possible to see the full horrors of the floor.
Suffice it to say that it's hard to work as increasing amounts of your stuff, up
to, and including your table are taken away from you, to be piled high in
precariously stacked crates.
It's a surreal scene, chairs gathered together and desks, in their normal
position but on their sides, sticking up into the air like standing stones.
